ABOUT

Café 1001 is a combined Café and Club intrinsic to the Brick Lane area and a focal point for most. We put acts on every night in two rooms ranging from unsigned indie-rock bands and nu-jazz collectives on weekdays to drum & bass, techno and house DJs on the weekends. We operate a free entry policy which means that 90% of our acts are open to the public free of charge. All rental options includes bar staff, security and cleaning. We have a top of the range Funktion One sound system, as well as staging and the ability to put on live music events.

LOCATION

Cafe 1001 is conveniently located in the middle of Brick Lane and is one of the most prominent venues in the Old Truman Brewery. With outdoor seating on the pedestrianised Dray Walk, there is always plenty of people-watching to be had! The vibe is always busy and exciting, making it a great place to meet friends and to get your party started.

ACCESS

There are a few options for loading/unloading. You could either use Brick Lane, or park in our car park located opposite of the cafe. There is also the option to enter through our loading bay, which is accessible from the Hanbury street entrance of the Old Truman Brewery.

SERVICES

There is one disabled toilet & two sets of male & female toilets. There is the option of using our catering service, we also have the ability to host events such as fashion shows, lectures & seminars and film screenings.

The Truman Brewery has probably the most central Shoreditch location, and are easily reached by bus, rail, tube or on foot.

The venue benefits from close access to all forms of public transport. Liverpool Street and Shoreditch High Street stations are a short distance away, with Aldgate East within easy reach, offering fast connections across London and beyond.
